Fun with focus stacking

Below four images, each one is the result of stacking up to 7 images, taking from each the part that is in focus. This is one of the digital wonders.

In analog days there was no equivalent. The best one could do was to use a tilt shift lens to control the focal plane, but having all in focus was next to impossible. Enough said, here are four examples:
