Fridays walk turned into a real hike of 16km and 1km altitude, lasting for 5 hours. The high point was the visit to the Cape au Moine, a little peak in the neighbourhood. Along the way weather kept moving in an out. But no complaints from me, on the contrary the mood of the landscape kept changing from dramatic, to pleasant and back.
While I share a handful of photos from my walk, the color editing keeps vexing me and the outcome is far from what I hoped for. Oh well here you go. Lets start with a map of the hike.

First up, the view from the col de Soladier. It looked like it could become a sunny, warm and pleasant walk.

A mere 20 minutes later the Cape au Moine came into view, however the sky had darkened considerably and the temperatures dropped accordingly.

Approching the base of the Cape you get a nice view of the Col de Jaman. At this point the weather outlook changed again to slightly more optimistic.

Having left the Cape au Moine behind, arriving at the Col de Jaman the last clouds were on their way out and the scene turned pleasent.

The view west over Lac Leman cleared up, Vevey, the vinyards of the Swiss Riviera came into view.

Below the view of my way home, in the distance my home village of Les Avants.
