Its omni presence is hard to beat. Even though I love my camera equipment it is not always readily available. Yesterday nature sent me another beautiful and at the same time painful reminder to bring my equipment all the time and everywhere. The dog walk in our valley started out in gray, dark and cold weather. But, a short hour later, some of the clouds to the west decided to let some afternoon light pass through. In the east, a few clouds allowed a brief view of our splendid, now snow-covered mountains. The entire episode lasted only half an hour. It was still enough time to bring back a few photos of this short, beautiful moment.
